Hello! 

I hope everyone was able to view the Science Fair Packet I sent home on Friday.  I will need the entry form by next Friday, February 3rd. I like to get them early so that I know students at least have an idea now that they will be able to work on over the next month or so.

We are working on our Treasure Books right now. I have students do quite a bit of pre-planning and put a lot of thought into their stories before I even let them draft. I have found that this usually helps alleviate all the work of trying to fix up long, confusing, stories that students sometimes write if you just let them jump in.

Don’t forget that the Aquarian Sledding Family Night is this Friday, February 3rd from 5-7. There will be a dessert auction and the PTO would love families to donate a dessert to the auction. If you can bring one, please email me and I will pass that information on.

Spring Parent Teacher conferences are coming up February 15 and 16th. I will be sending home conference slips this week.

Ms. Karen would like me to remind you that students need photos to school by Tuesday on a flashdrive for a project they are working on in class.

Finally,there will be no math on Tuesday and Wednesday this week due to Terra Nova testing.
