After a very cloudy and rainy summer, the sun came out for our first week of school. For the next few weeks we will be getting our routines and working agreements in place. Math Block will start in a couple of weeks as soon as the kindergartners and first graders are settled in. In September we have a great field trip to the Botanical Gardens to look at Alaskan plants. We’re reviewing sentence structure and will start with family stories in addition to our guided reading groups.
